Shipping, lead times, returns and warranty

This page answers what riders ask us before and after an order: how long a build takes, when in-stock parts ship, what returns and the warranty cover, and how to reach a person. It covers orders placed on rippinmoto.com. Parts bought through Amazon or a dealer follow the same warranty but need a proof of purchase.

Questions riders ask

How long do Blackline wheels take?

Wheelsets: 2-3 weeks to build, then about 7-10 days in transit. Ready-to-Ride: 3-4 weeks to build with tires mounted, then about 7-10 days in transit. Magnesium finish adds about 5 business days to either.

Are Blackline wheels hand-built?

No. Wheels-only sets are built to Rippin Moto's specification by our wheel builder and ship direct to you. Ready-to-Ride sets ship to our shop in Redmond, Oregon for tire mounting first, then to you.

When do in-stock parts ship?

Parts in stock ship same day when ordered by 12pm PT.

How much does a colored finish cost?

Black rim is included. Standard rim colors are +$80 per set. Chrome, rainbow, purple and silver rims are +$110 per set. A single wheel is half of that: $40 for a standard color, $55 for chrome, rainbow, purple or silver. Black spokes are standard, stainless spokes are no charge. Burnt blue and rainbow hubs are +$20 per hub, so $40 on a set. See the full color list in the wheelset builder.

Does an order with tires qualify for free shipping?

Orders containing tires are excluded from free shipping.

Can I return a part I ordered?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery, if the item is new, unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging. Get a return authorization through the returns portal first, because returns sent without an RA number may be refused. A 10% restocking fee applies to every eligible return, and shipping and handling fees are not refunded. Used, installed, mounted or ridden wheels and tires are not returnable. A wheelset that shipped free carries an extra $45 restocking fee. Refunds are processed within 48-72 hours of receipt and inspection.

How long is the warranty?

One year, parts and labor, from the date of purchase, in the US and Canada, for off-road and motorsports use. Brake rotors, inner tubes and anodized parts carry 6 months instead. Shipping is never covered. Buy direct from rippinmoto.com and registration is automatic; buy from Amazon or a dealer and a claim needs a dated proof of purchase. Email support@rippinmoto.com to start one.

Can I use these parts on public roads?

No. Rippin Moto parts are sold for off-road and motorsports use, and they are not warranted or intended for use on public roads or highways. The rider assumes the risk of use or misuse in any environment.
